“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.” —Norman Vincent Peale
It is good to have you with us in this moment. The world
today does not fit with the weakness mindset, and we cannot change it as we
wish. However, we can increase our knowledge from our own experience to become
stronger. Try to create shield that will enable you to push aside all the
obstacles that you may face in your journey toward success. So, what will you
do to reach the top?
Ask yourself these essential questions: (where am I?), (Why
am I here?), (what direction should I take?) When you find the answer of these
three questions, you will be in the first step toward success. Take a deep look
in your life and think about your decisions and achievement that you made until
this moment. Then, ask yourself: Do you have a goal? Do you have a dream? Are
you determining to achieve your dream? Are you developing your ideas
continually! Do you have some people in your life who make you feel discourage?
Have you ever thought about your future!? What is the type of decisions that
you are going to take right now? I don't
care about how much you are suffering and how much you have failed, all of us
have made mistakes. Learn from those mistakes and try to not repeat them over
and over. You must believe in yourself and your abilities to success. Soon, you
will achieve your dreams and fulfill your destiny.
One day, a young man wanted to make a lot of money. He went
to a wise man and told him: "I want to be exactly like you". The wise
man replied: "If you want to be like me, let’s meet up tomorrow morning on
the beach at 4:00 am. The young man says: “the beach! I said I want to earn
money; I don't want to swim”. The wise man said: If you want to make money, I
will meet you tomorrow at 4 a.m. In the next day at 4 a.m. the young man
arrived at the beach wearing sport clothes. The wise man asked the boy a simple
question “How successful do you want to be?” the young man said: "very
much” The wise man said to him: Walk in the water. The young man started walking
in the water. When the water level reached his waist, the young man started
saying inside himself this old man is crazy, I am telling him that I want to
make money, so he would bring me here to swim. I do not want to be a swimmer.
After some minutes, the level of the water reached the young
man’s shoulder, but the wise man was still saying: keep going! Now, the level
of the water reached the young man’s mouth. Then, the wise man asked him a
question: Are you looking for success? The young man: Yes, I want to achieve
success. The wise man said to him: keep walking! The wise man took the young
man's head and drowned him under the water, and the young man tries to escape
from him. He kept the young man's head under the water until he came to take
his last breath. The wise man got out the young man's head from the water and
asked him: When you were under the water what was the most thing that you want
to do? The young man said: I wanted to breathe. In this moment, the wise man
said: When you want to succeed as you want to breathe, you will succeed.
“Where there is a will, there is a way. If there is a chance in a million that you can do something, anything, to keep what you want from ending, do it. Pry the door open or, if need be, wedge your foot in that door and keep it open.” —Pauline Kael
The technique that you will set is the most important
element that will help you fulfill your dream. For example, if you want to be a
professional writer, you must set a time of at least two hours on a one-day to
practice reading skill. Then, you should believe in your dream and in your
ability to achieve it. Self-confidence will help you raise up. Start by turning
your wishes into goals because this is the sensitive part that will show how
much you are committed to achieving your dream. In addition, you need to create
a strategic plan to fulfil your goals. There is no specific global strategy, as
it depends on the person concerned and the goals that he/she wants to
accomplish.
Write down your strengths and weaknesses as well as your
ideas about turning weakness into strengths and threats to opportunities. You
can do this by defining your short-term goals. Divide your main goal into
multiple divisions, and set a specific time to achieve each of your future
goals. Furthermore, enjoy the journey that leads you toward achieving your
dreams. Do not forget to use your personal vision. Imagine your success, close
your eyes from time to time and imagine the image that will be after achieving
your dream. “When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are, anything
your heart desires will come to you.” – “Pinocchio,” Walt Disney Pictures,
lyrics by Ned Washington. Maybe you are thinking about the meaning of personal
vision? It describes what you want to achieve in the future. Your vision
defines your dreams and starts to scratch the surface of your life purpose.
When you build a wide vision that makes you feel healthier, happier, and more
successful. You are more likely to set a plan into motion to make that vision
become reality. Keep your confidence in yourself. Don't forget the passivity
that you are going to face and overcome. Then, imagine that you are the manager
of an organization, and you want to improve the performance of your employees,
you must evaluate them according to specific criteria that match the strategic
plans of the organization.
“Do not wait; the time will never be ‘just right.’ Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.” —George Herbert
